well...its high time that i have ignored monsieur pathak in my discussions...i'll try to introduce him thus...
i met this guy at the french embassy when i went for my visa...though i had seen him before at the calcutta convention...this was when we talked....and as it had to be ....we met here in paris in the midst of a long ( 5 day ) holiday .As the destiny had it...we had no one to share ur misery so it was not difficult to come together.
I'll have to say that my initial impression stands still...mon. pathak is a ultra fundu ( his fav remark ) person...he was a 10 pointer at IT BHU comp sc. in cal but holds 9.85 points on a scale of ten nowadays.
he is ultra sincere ..(for all impractical purposes ) organised ...energetic...very friendly....slightly darpok(never likes going out in nites)...and a whole hearted brahmchari. (dont look at me like that ... monsieur pathak had more to to him than met my eyes .... kindly note this opinion dates back to May 16,2002)
for a guy from a small township manakapur near lko...he has done allot
cleared maths oly. chem oly. ...comp topper ...now in paris.fortunately for me ( as i had always been endowed by God )....he has been my savior in france.....he knows french( better than me ).so he has been there with me in all my shoppings...asking direction...holding inquries at counters..standing in line with french
and every possible thing which i as non french speaking cd not have done ( cooking lunch for 5 days included ) ...must say without him my life here wd had been "trĐ“©s difficion".
neways ...we r into ur work now...he is at inria ... working for a reco and may be a paper .. and here i m socialising ...in order to gain some french connection in my life ...
